Last Year, I had the pleasure of visiting New York City twice in the month of October. The first trip was planned out and gifted to me by my wife Jenna. We had the most amazing time moving through and digesting the city. I don’t know if there was much that we missed. We walked endlessly hitting every museum and eating at all locations recommended by friends who had been. I loved traveling with Jenna alone in the big city.
The second visit was to assist a friend and fellow photographer Alicia Santistevan on her shoot. Alicia’s client needed us for a week in New York, I had just left the city 7 days prior to this job with Alicia and was already on my way back. First day back in the city, we kept as an orientation day. We really needed a day to ourselves and we spent it very differently. As I had just visited the big museums with Jenna I decided to walk around the city by myself. As I walked through the city, with no pressing issues, I was able to just observe. It was just me and the city and it was like therapy. I krept through the streets from Central Park all the way down to the 9-11 Memorial. Here are some of the moments captured from both journeys.
