I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Doug for their engagement session. After seeing their chemistry and easy-going attitudes in front of the camera, I am now even more excited to photograph their wedding next year. We had the idea of getting together somewhere outdoors as they are an adventurous couple. We went to a set of waterfalls in Tahoe that they didn’t shy from at all. We were all over the rocks, I even at one point was watching them navigate through the falls thinking to myself, “why did I bring my clients here?” “Something could go wrong, someone could slip …” you know, all the fun stuff a business owner would think. They put me at ease with their adventurous attitudes and even had me climbing around in areas I thought I’d never get to. After the falls, we came across some flowers and meadows and jumped out of the truck randomly, catching every scene we laid eyes on. We had a great session and I know we will have a great day at their wedding. Thanks Amanda and Doug, I appreciate your willingness to take it to the next level, it made all the difference.
