I was sitting in the office the other day and a Texas area code popped up on my phone. I was fresh back from Dallas and didn’t find it surprising to get a call from that area of the country. To my surprise, the woman on the other line wasn’t calling about my recent trip to her city but rather her trip to mine. Megan and Alex were planning their honeymoon – leaving Dallas then on to Yosemite and Tahoe and thought it was a good idea to get some pictures taken. I met them and took them to some of my favorite places in Tahoe. The session was relaxed and adventurous, parking where we saw the light, jumping out of the cars here and there. It was refreshing to shoot from the hip and with a couple that was just as into the adventure as I was.
I find myself pushing my clients to chase the light with me, running from place to place, filling the session, and therefore, the photography with variety resulting in a story to be shared. I really thank you Megan & Alex, this session was just what I needed.
